Mechan Controls plc, the British designer and manufacturer of machine guarding safety systems, has announced the launch of its new website, www.mechancontrols.co.uk. The site provides details about the company’s latest product launches together with downloadable technical data about its established range of switches, relays and modular safety controls. Launched in August 2003, the website includes data about Mechan Control’s electronic, magnetic and coded magnetic safety switches, as well as specifiers’ notes and application guidelines for the various coded, tamper proof and stainless steel options. New additions to the company’s product portfolio include – amongst others – the recently extended F-Series of electronic non-contact safety switches and the Magnasafe range of magnetically operated switches for use in wet, dusty or hygiene-sensitive environments. The new website includes a ‘shopping cart’ type facility through which visitors can request a quotation for any of the company’s products. It also features a customer account section and an optional newsletter subscription service which enables individual clients to stay abreast of the latest technical developments.
